Anyone know of a blocking technique to limit the sd9ve's mag from 16 rounds to 10 rounds?

If you have a way to do it, the best thing would be to put a dent/dimple in the magazine just below where the follower stops when loaded to ten rounds. I think that's the way they were done during the Clinton ban. Dimple far enough below the follower at ten rounds to allow for a bit of play to make the mag easy to insert(no play in the rounds will not let the spring compress or the mag reatch the catch) but not far enough to allow an 11th round. If legal to do a non-permanent mod(or if you want to plug it to ten for non-legality related reasons) put a piece of wood in the bottom of the mag. Be sure it's not interfering with the travel of the spring.
ETA-or you can trade your full capacity mags to someone in a free state for 10 round mags. If I had that model, I'd gladly order some 10 roundrs and trade you. |
