We got Sotomayor and Kagan on the SCOTUS. They're young and will be with us for decades after Obama is gone.
If Obama gets a second term, then we get two or three more liberal activist judges and we lose the 2nd Amendment. How come so many here don't comprehend that this is bad? |

Truthfully, the manufacturers were set to run productions very high post ban, and what we have seen is a combination of marketing and availability coupled with justified concerns for personal safety, and liberty all coming together in the same general time frame.
I personally fear more of what the government did in the 3 years post 9/11 than anything Zero has done. He is riding the wave that was made much larger by the Bush administration. The former admin's position will play out in history as one of 'the people being allowed to take more personal safety precautions' mixed with 'government is allowed to do whatever it wants to protect government itself from everyone, including said people government allowed to further protect themselves.' With this said, Obama is the best gun salesman in the last 100 years. As many firearms as have been sold in the last 3 years???????? It's not just republicans and libertarians who have moved forward and entered the realm as part of the followers of the 2A. Dems are right there with it, because in the end.......Dems are AMERICANS. And, many of them dislike what is happening with gov't as much as any libertarian or republican. The disillusionment with the government itself goes across all party lines. They are failing everyone, and educated dems know it just as much as repubs or libertarians. |
