[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How long to wait?

Summary: Refinancing our house. Need to get house appraised. Appraisal company calls last week sets up appointment for this morning at 10:00 am. It's now 10:50 and they are a no show and a no call.

Takes weeks to get one done since the housing mrkt in this town is insane. I got shit to do at work and my patience is wearing thin.

To pass time, I'm posting a CSB on ARFCOM.

That happened to me before. I left. He eventually showed up and did the appraisal without ever having stepped foot in the house. It all worked out.

Appraisals are usually done quickly and superficially. He'll get there and be done before you know it.

When talking to the rep on the phone when they made the appt. I was lead to believe they would need access to the inside of the house.
