Calling all these people leeches or low lifes and saying shit like the whole 47% has no pride in being an American has to stop. A lot of that 47% are WWII, Korean and Veit Nam vets. A lot of that 47% has paid into the system. Not all of them are cheats and low lifes who have never paid taxes.

I don't think StretchMak's plea was directed at Romney. That isn't what Romney said, it's what a lot of people have interpreted. The fact that 47% of Americans pay no Federal Income Tax only makes it that much clearer that there is too much government. Plenty of people in that group would rather they weren't - a bunch are members on this board. |
