they are fair, but there are other options i would choose first. i would spend a bit more money too. i had one back in the day and it was just OK. was not bad, but nothing to write home about either.

I have used one, and liken it to buying a Kia so you can afford more options on a vehicle.

I've got the 4-14x44 scope mounted on a .17HMR rifle. I like it for that setup, though it doesn't get much abuse so I can't comment on its durability.

Aren't they "assembled" there as in stickers are put on chinese scopes in some shed?

edit I think Bushnell has some decent scopes in that price range but I have not used them

They do, indeed. OP, are you doing F-class or something? Why 25x? You can go down a bit in power, spend just a bit more, and get the Bushy 2.5-16 Tactical, which is quite a nice scope for the price. For most general long-range stuff, 16x should be plenty, unless you're shooting way beyond 1k on a regular basis.

Yes I believe that's right, he same as those other shite scopes...the MTC Mamba

As a dealer I regularly get emails from scope manufacturers in China.
They are mostly very cheap and I'm sure the turrets repeat but the quality generally looks awful

Well, I mean I'm tossing around the idea of the Bushnell HDMR with the G2 reticle, but it's over double the price.

I have no idea if this is any good but I think it's around the same price http://swfa.com/Bushnell-5-15x40-Elite-Tactical-Rifle-Scope-P48272.aspx

The fixed power super sniper scopes have  good reptutation

Here's a review from 8541 Tactical on the 4-14x44FFP from someone with a good deal of experience. He's also a member here so maybe he'll chime in.
I like mine.

I tried to get a MOA turret one with a mildot reticle, but it was impossible to find one in stock
the one guy that SAID he had them in stock turned out to be a PIECE OF SHIT

Pretty much this.

Wouldn't say I love it but it's on a budget build and it works just fine.

Why would you want MOA knobs with a Mil Reticle?

I guess i need to add some words in there, for the price i paid i love it.  It works good for what i use it for.  Would i love a Nightforce or Leupold better, ABSOLUTELY, but you cant beat what you get for the price they run.
