Can I even ask what the hive thinks a fair price of a firearm is before I list it? Or, once it's listed, do folks IM you and tell you that you're out of your mind and make offers?

i got a warning for asking that question as i was accused that i was trying to pimp my EE thread ![]() YMMV In all fairness, it is pimping for an EE thread whether you like it or not. I've never used the EE but have a couple things in mind. I assume that means no? I have no idea what it means to "pimp an EE thread"... |

I'd try posting your query in the comments/questions area of the EE. |

Yeah, that's usually the way it goes. I try to handle them on a case by case basis, but those threads almost always get locked, either immediately if they read like covert WTS ads or later when people start talking about trying to buy the item in question. Of course, anyone can ask questions about the value or average cost of a particular item without ever disclosing that they have one that they intend to sell. |

Please feel free to lock. |

Just check gunbroker or the EE for a simular item to get a idea what a fair price it
Then post it for 10% higher and lower it if it doesnt sell right away. Gotta love capitalism Free Quoted:
