After hearing many positive stories about Mint.com in a previous thread, I have started looking into it myself.  While researching, I hit the Wiki page for general principle

and noticed a remark at the bottom that in July 2012, the site lost a large amount of historical data.  Has anyone here who uses Mint noticed any negative effects because

of this?  Do you still recommend it?  Any tips or pointers?  Thanks.

I can't use it, my bank and Mint do not get along.  My bank is a little outdated as far as sharing info electroically.  I have a few friends and coworkers who use it and if your bank is up to date as far as network banking goes you should be fine.  What little I was able to use it, I like the budgeting on it the most.

Just don't start tagging all your gun purchases as "Sporting Goods"... it's tough seeing a pie chart with 70%+ devoted to sporting goods
