IMHO one of the last GREAT cartoons.  Pinky and the Brain.  Slappy Squirrel.. one of my heros for her sarcasm and gratuitous use of violence and explosives!

One of my favorite ones!

Animaniacs are the Green Berets of cartoons.  The best of the best.

I always liked the episode Fair Game

Animaniacs, while good, still pales in comparison to the genius that was The Ren & Stimpy Show.

They don't pale in comparison but they don't rate in the same league.  Ren and Stimpy are in a different division.  An elite division, a laugh-your-ass-off division, but a different division, of course.

I loved Angry Beavers

Ren and Stimpy was the best.

There are a lot of great cartoons, but I think animaniacs really did it for me more than others..of course old school cartoons are the best.

I have fond memories of it.

Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

I think so Brain, but then it'd be Snow White and the Seven Samurai

"Are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

"I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?"

Oh, fucking please... every generation says that the days of "great" cartoons are over. Meh.

I'm 44 years old. I grew up on Looney Tunes.

These days... "Adventure Time," "Regular Show," "Amazing World Of Gumball"...?

There are PLENTY of great cartoons out there, keeping the genre alive.

I rather enjoyed Pinky and the Brain.  My favourite cartoons back then were the Batman and Superman ones.  MIB was good as well.  A lot of the cartoons back then seemed to have more adult themes.

The most creative cartoon episode I've ever seen is when the Animaniacs demonstrated to Albert Einstein that E=mc2 was Acme spelled backwards.

Animaniacs, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, AHHH! Real Monsters. My favorite shows as a kid.

Now, it's Adventure Time and South Park.

Hell yeah I loved Freakazoid!

There was a time when they had a great line up. Anamaniacs, Freakazoid, MiB, the Tick, Earthworm Jim. I'm sure I am missing some but those were great cartoons.

Ren and Stimpy were a different kind of cartoon and awesome as well. Got a little weird(er) at the end though.

Animaniacs weren't the elite of cartoons, they were the elite of comedy.

I still use one of their lines.  Once, when a drunk female friend of mine was upset about her boyfriend or something, I said "You know, you're like a wigwam and a teepee.  Too tense!"

Phineas and Ferb.  IMO, the best cartoon on TV right now.

He blew his wad on this one...

I like the Animaniacs as well.  However, my nod goes to Eek! the Cat.  He's a fat, purple cat that thinks the best of everyone –– and he's always proven wrong.

Wife never really followed Animaniacs that closely. I introduced her to a few of their better episodes. "Those are some rude little fucks!"
