Hey all, it seems like a lot of folks aren't fans of his and i was searching his username on the forums and didn't find anything. I could be searching wrong as i'm not great with the whole internet/forums thing.
Was looking for some pertinent threads b/c it seems that a lot of folks don't like his vids. I actually like his videos and find them (mostly) helpful for gear stuff. I sort of think he puts himself out there where others don't and i have a little respect for that. His family does the same and it seems like they have all of our same interests in mind. He shows vids of himself making mistakes or having a bad shooting day, etc. and his family includes themselves as well. Basically, looking for some of the discussions that might talk about things i don't recognize as a novice shooter. I'm an outdoors guy and have been shooting for a long time, but I'm non-military and a total lightweight as the members of the arfcom forums go, but he seems to strike a chord with some folks. Just trying to research why; don't want to like the guy if I shouldn't. I guess I'm just a little confused by the whole thing and it's possible I'm totally missing something. Thanks - please be nice if I'm totally missing the boat and just tell me why i missed it!

Hickok45, tnoutdoors9, and Sturmgewehre are my favorite shooting related youtube channels. There is a survivalist called excurahee or something like that here too. His channel is great. |

If you're really considering buying something, and you want an unbiased thorough review based on real experiences from a dyed-in-the-wool tactical gun nut and shooting enthusiast, then Nutnfancy is what you want. If you're bored and just looking for something flashy to alleviate your ADHD until it's late enough to pass out, then he's not for you. I've bought at least two dozen things he's reviewed and recommended, and I've never been dissatisfied. |

I really dont understand the hate for this guy.
Sure his videos are a little long winded, but they are also pretty thorough. I usually watch them in bed before I fall asleep. How bout this, instead of being an internet bad ass and saying how horrible he is, why dont you not watch his channel?

I never knew who he was until he showed up here. He swiped a photo of an AK that someone he took. He posted a few times in that thread. He is a hilariously pompous toad who refers to himself in the third person like he's Louis the 14th. He's kind of a laughing stock outside of youtubeites. I don't think he's particularly skilled or knowledgeable about firearms, sort of a blind leading the blind situation. |

I've watched some of his videos and occasionally find them informative. Why base your likes on the masses? |

I used to watch his vids, but I avoid them now because people here (and some YouTube posters as well) have said that he sometimes doesn't know what he's talking about. I guess I'm afraid that I'll take his word as gospel on a particular subject, when he is actually incorrect. |

He actually thinks he came up with the idea of "group think" and maligns forums because it's so prevalent there. Meanwhile he surrounds himself with sycophants that take his word as law and shout down anyone who questions their dear leader. Also, as Aimless already said, he came on here once and acted like a complete douche. |

When you put yourself out there, you open yourself up to ridicule. If your video review comes in a 5 to 8 part series, that's lots of opportunity for ridicule.
Even guys who are certified takers of names get clueless cybercommandos critiquing their videos or comments, to inlcude guys who have literally rescued Americans and other innocent hostages from foreign captors, shut down insurgencies, and done things they will never talk about in the next 25 years...if ever. I have a lot of problems with some of the statements Nutnfancy has made, but his intentions seem genuine. It was kinda funny when he walked into a local gun store in my area with the camera running, and said it was a great place, but they just needed to lower their prices a bunch. Heaven knows any of us would receive loads of ridicule if we were to post long videos on youtube. |

| Guys, its youtube. If you think you can do better, post a channel yourself and open it up to critique. It doesnt matter what I personally think about nutnfancy, but he is brave enough to handle multiple firearms and record himself and others in live action. His word may not be gospel but until you handle that weapon yourself, you cant say a word! |

I don't profess to be an expert and offer advice on subjects that I am not qualified to give advice on. Therefore, my channel is better. Even if I didn't have one I could point out how retarded he is. |

The only internet reviewer I routinely listen to is hickock45. He's my kind of shooter. He is excellent at shooting, gives nice common sense reviews with shooting demonstrations and doesn't dress more decked out than a special operations commando. I enjoy his videos a lot. He can make a long story longer and he loves him some TAPCO, but I find some of his videos entertaining with pretty scenery. I like to watch youtube vids when I'm bored and once a month or so I check his playlist to see if anything interesting has been added. His vidoes are better produced than when he started and better than I could do myself. There are always going to be people who comment negatively on sources of information, many other sites do this about ARFCOM. Watch or don't, take his opinions with a grain of salt and make up your own mind. |

For those that don't understand the hate....from the thread where he used an image from an arfcomer without permission. Unsurprisingly he doesn't get to the point until the 4th paragraph Hello haters and supporters, I want to keep my responses positive and professional and will do so, despite the Nutnfancy haters here. I will first thank my supporters JOKERMANN77 and ZAN that have replied to this thread here. They understand my intentions with TNP as do my many thousands of subscribers and I appreciated their posts. Thanks guys! I do not seek the pre-approval of any forum for the existence, opinions, or subject matter of The Nutnfancy Project and I never will. I am completely independent from the group think that often emerges from such sources... thank heavens. That's what many of my subscribers love about TNP. Forum-ites often criticize me for their own issues and some desire greatly to destroy what I do. It's perplexing that others would try to silence such a strong Second Amendment voice and you would think they understand the importance of unity in rights preservation. I guess egos override that. Wait 'til you see the 2nd Amendment videos I have planned along these lines and my critics will once again feel stupid for their attacks. But these destructive efforts have always failed to restrict the growth and popularity of my TNP... they actually just increase it. And I generally know what I'm talking about despite these "criticisms." I have many years of experience in every gear category. My expertise comes from civilian, LEO, and military experience as clearly explained AND shown in video proof. There's lots of dudes better than me to be sure but I hold my own (as proven in many tac shoots with others) and I won't apologize for my opinions and systemology. Egos and personal conflict seem to be the order of the day in many forums but not at The Nutnfancy Project. I just try to keep it real, have fun, defend freedoms, promote good, and provide honest gear information. If you like come on along! If you don't then stay away (and you won't have to get trounced on in the video comments sections by my supporters). Any images used in my videos are in the public domain and are non-copyrighted. I am surprised that anyone would be angry over their use. Having someone infuriate over some airtime with a cool gun picture in a very pro-Second Amendment forum?! Shocking. To attempt to find each owner of Google-accessed image with no watermark or image-place attribution is unrealistic and time prohibitive. If we want our imagery to remain non-prolific and private maybe we should not post it on open sources as we show it off to the world. We are on the same team here. Sorry marksman14 if I can't get back to you via YT email because, as discussed in my latest update vid, I am overwhelmed with that thousands of such correspondences and to keep vids cranking out I don't check them as often as I should. I am totally maxxed out with TNP and the jobs. Walk a mile in my shoes before you post public, profanity-ridden indictments of me like you've done here. That was unwarranted and unfair. Probably will NOT post again due to my time constraints and lack of desire to invest energy into pointless forum conflict. I am sure the haters will keep hating but it counts for naught. I just hate the way he talks.
You know in Step Brothers where he says, "I dont know what it is about your face, but I just wanna deliver one of these right in your suck hole." That's how I feel when I listen to him speak. I don't hate the guy for being some sort of idiot or anything......I just can't stand his voice and the way he talks. |
