As a univ student, im eligible for MS dreamspark access on onthehub.  I can dl win8pro64 .iso and they gave me an act code.

I understand it hasn't actually been released for GA/FCS yet..   I didnt think rtm versions required an act code.  Is that correct?

What ver would it be. The desc on the website makes no mention of ga, fcs or rtm

I don't understand what you're saying, but I'll answer some other questions.

q) do RTM versions of Windows 8 require a code to activate?
a) yes.

q) what was the build number of the RTM version of Windows 8?
a) 9200

Rtm does not expire. The website should tell you the version. Please speak English.
