honestly, everyone is piling up on this chinese swat team because they think its the cool thing to do but alot of the stuff on that video was well executed and they did look like an impressive team.
The bus raid they did with the truck that had ramps specially designed for breaching the windows and making entry was amazing. Ive never seen one of those and can tell you from experience, that raiding a bus is a shit sandwich with any other traditional technique. Also, everybody's hating on their ninja rolls and fancy acrobatics, but at least they have a team full of fast, nimble guys. When i did my swat training in a rural area, some of the guys at the class were overweight and out of shape and not physically capable of preforming some of the tasks shown on this video. Of course i could critique some of the stuff on this video too, like doing explosive breaching windows that were rigged with bombs and held by terrorists, or sending a dog into a room with mixed occupants, or using a big loud helicopter to drop operators on a building then waiting 5 minutes to do an entry, but alot of their stuff looked pretty good. They have modern equipment, fiber optic cameras, explosive breaching tools, entry shields, ect. Basically, alot of that stuff looked good. Alot better than that picture i saw once of 50 of them crammed behind a car trying to avoid gunfire

| The funny thing about the Chinese is that everything is so standardized that their training grounds are probably a close copy of EVERYTHING they might encounter. They are the type to standardize every floor surface and bus window in the country just to make these guys more effective. They don't let things like safety and cost get in the way of what they want. We might laugh at them, but they are a pretty formidable foe. |

It's a propaganda movie created by their government. It's highly choreographed and full of effects, including as it was pointed out, a slightly increased film speed. Be impressed all you want by the Jackie Chan flopping around. |
