| How the fuckity fuck do people still not understand birth control. All religious viewpoints aside. It’s just not fucking economical to have an abortion. According to planned parenthood it costs between 300-950 dollars to have one of their highly trained technicians poke around your taco with a clothes hanger. For 300$ I could buy enough condoms to have sex 4 times a day, every day, for a whole fucking year (if my math right, I blow at math, but it’s still a shit ton of condoms). How is there even a need for abortion as birth control? It blows my mind. I understand having it in cases of rape or life threatening complications with the pregnancy. But as birth control? Even if I pretend for a second that abortion isn’t killing babies, people would still rather have an invasive surgery on their MOTHER FUCKING REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS then use a condom? We are completely fucked as a society. |

I don't think anyone actually uses abortion as a form of regular birth control. I doubt any chick is like, "Well, looks like it is time for my monthly abortion." Don't be daft. Clearly, but people are obviously fucking with out normal birth control and using abortions as such. Hence, its birth control. |

We are completely fucked as a society. Who the fuck still pay's for condoms? They have bins of them at the welfare office in both bathrooms. Planned parenthood hands out the pill to anyone that asks. Most of the woman I've seen go in for them aren't exactly the smartest people in the world in the first place. Most of them haven't figured out you have to take the pill EVERY DAY for it to work.
ETA: Let's not forget the morning after pill. It's only $50 and takes care of the problem but women are either "ashamed" to go get it or "it's too expensive" |

I am pro choice, but I believe that abortion as a form of birth control is absolutely wrong. The problem is, I don't believe the government should be the group who decides where the line lies. I'm pro life in 99.9% of cases, but I still don't think the government should be able to blanket statement the whole issue.
If my ex had ever gotten pregnant abortion would have been the only choice. Her doctors all agreed she would die before child birth (she had bad chrons disease). With that said, we used a MINIMUM of 2 methods of birth control at all times to prevent it. |

Made me giggle as well. can see the doc taking their coat off a dry cleaner hanger and using said hanger to do some poking around. Do people really think they still use coat hangers? |

Go look at who has the lion's share of abortions. It's not the smart women that can do math, my friend. Actually, a lot of smart women who can do math are poor decision makers for simple practical stuff like birth control. I know an absolute genius who had an abortion and then gave a baby up for adoption about a year or two later. It boggles the mind. |

There's a difference between setting out to have sex with the plan of using abortion as birth control and being irresponsible and then ending up using abortion as birth control. |

I understand cases like that, however two forms pretty much makes the chances of pregnancy happening 0. Good on you for being responsible. That like a fucking super power nowadays. |
American Culture = Lost sorry, but it's too far gone, 40 plus years of "if it feels good ...do it" "it's all about me" "I need to be happy" "I'm not hurting anyone but myself" gone, gone... very little morality left Hedonism rules American Values now look at the back lash over Chick-Fil-a ![]() |

Smart women that can do math do fail at birth control and basic responsibility. That's all I was saying in that post. |
