Since the Army has Cut the XM806 ( replacement for the M2 .50cal) I was wondering about the progress of the M249 replacement the LSAT LMG (Light Weight Small Arms Technologies) the last thing I read about it was a PDF file released called "the epilogue " dated May 16 2012 stating that it was on TRL (technology readiness level) was at 7 out of 9 I'd hate to see this thing get the Axed since this is only serious development in small arms technology in a REALLLY long time........Piston guns , with polymer receivers and ambi controls don't count.... So does anyone have any real updates ??? old videos with some LSAT Shooting  |
