A "turnaround" team, vs the National Champs! How is this going to go? It's the first game for Michigan.
I say (as a Michigan fan, acknowledging the loss of quite a few starters), that it will be a rape, but with s soft kiss at the end.
We're going to get drilled in the ass. We improved a shit ton last season (thanks, Brady Hoke!), but we weren't a championship team. Alabama is. I fear this will hurt. |

As always, it will come down to line play. Alabama has a somewhat new backfield with Eddie Lacy (Circle Button) and Jalston "Big Baby Jesus" Fowler. It will be test to see if they can pick up where Trent Richardson left off. I'm hoping our QB (AJ McCarron) can pick up where he left off. I'm really looking forward to the game, I'll be in Paris trying to find a Bama bar! |

Dont forget TJ Yeldon...............he has the makings of a monster RB..................gonna be a great game, but I say ROLL TIDE

Let the SEC buttlovefest circlejerk begin! Uh, thread was started by a Michigan fan.
It'll bring 'em like flies to shit.. It's all good. My wife is Ole Miss. I'm USM. She made us get tickets this year, so I'm repaying her by wearing something black and gold to the Grove..

What did Michigan lose from last year? Alabama lost their top 5 defenders, their top RB, their top 2 WRs....etc etc...They have very new blood at almost every key position I think it'll be closer than most think... Michigan may have lost less, but they didn't have all that much to start with. |

Going against a lot of new d guys on Alabama could spell a fairly high scoring game. Not sure their D will fare exceptionally well against Alabama's OL. |

Alabama may have lost a lot of starters, but you have to remember the amount of players Alabama rotates during a game. Not as close as you think. Saban won't run the score up on Michigan just he didn't against Penn St. |

Bama will control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and should win comfortably, but I don't expect a blow-out. The D will give up more than we've seen in a while because of the youth, but that group of athletes is still off the hook. The O will be more potent with real threats at WR now and a QB with more experience behind likely the best line in college football. I think they turn AJ loose and surprise many. Alabama will rotate a ton of players in and you won't see a huge score put up. BTW: Barrett Jones could possibly achieve what no other OL has ever accomplished in the history of college ball. Win the Outland and Remington trophies plus win 3 national championships at Guard, Tackle, and Center. No, I'm not chalking up another NC already; but the possibility exists. Barrett Jones is a super guy and deserves the accolades. |
| Someone in Alabama is going to have to start offering virgin sacrifices to Saban. That guy has it rolling (pardon the pun) and it is going to be ugly for the rest of the country until he leaves. Meeechigan does not stand a chance here, but it will be closer than many expect. Saban has a method, and early season blowouts against quality programs doesn't fit his season planning. He is one smart football genius. I've heard him speak at several clinics and the depth of his knowledge is impressive. |

Bama has struggled with games real early in the year plus the fact they got a ton of new guys filling in where Bama was really strong. So I think it might get interesting. Considering that Hoke took the worst defense in Michigan's history with Rich Rod's defense and made them very formidable in just one year. I am excited to see what M's defense will look like now having been in the defensive system for two years. But I think Bama is going to be the heavy favorite. Everybody is going to count Michigan out...... You gotta be wary of those teams with nothing to lose and everything to prove. |

We shall see............Bama will be ready for it, and already some of the ESPN pundits are giving Michigan the win............whoever shows up wins
