What would you pay for one? I'm thinking $299 for a wifi version and $399 for a 4G. Otherwise I would buy a Galaxy Tab 7.

| I would pay $400 or so for a 64GB version with WiFi in fact that is what I am planning and I hope the cost is not too much more then this or I will buy the full sized IPAD instead. I really like the size concept of the mini over the full sized IPAD so I have been waiting a long time hoping this was really going to happen. until then, I am using my iphone 4s and old iphone 3GS (no longer on my cell plan) as my portable WiFi tablets. |

if they sold it for $199 for they would be killing kindle fire sales Since when has Apple tried to compete on price.......................ever? Or features.... Honestly, the iPad is one of the most frustrating devices I have ever owned. The things it should do well are ruined by missing features and stupid design decisions. I will definitely be going Adroid with my next purchase and hand down this glorified Etch-a-sketch to my kid or girlfriend. |

I want a big tablet. Like 2-3 times the size of an Ipad. http://www.madeinhollywood.ie/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/giant-ipad-held-up.jpg a little too big but your on the right track |

Until we get osx, windows, Linux or another real os on tablets they will all be toys. I like my iPad but if I could flash a better os and add removable storage I'd like it a lot better. |

Just got a nexus 7 yesterday. So far its a pretty slick little device for only $200, plus a $25 credit in the app store. Not a lot of storage though... so far not an issue but I could see it becoming one eventually.
But for $200, I can't complain. And the new Android 4.1.1 is SLICK. Much slicker than any previous version I've used. It makes my bionic phone seem kinda old school. anyone know some good apps for it? Something optimized for a tablet? |

Expect $399, they only sell premium products to gullible college age kids, remember. And everyone else sells shit to reactionaries. I bought some sunglasses yesterday and the poor salesgirl tried to pull up a calculator function on a galaxy tab. Took at least 30 seconds. Me: "Should've gotten an ipad." Her: <Evil eye> |

that girl was completely stoned. |

What advantage would it have over a kindle? I don't need an adapter to plug headphones or speakers into my fire. I can effortlessly stream amazon media with it, which has turned out to be better than I expected. I don't have to use itunes to get jams on it either.
The only improvment I would like on my kindle is voice commands, like siri. People are going to do only so much with a small pad, kindle does what I got it to do. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
