| Well I have been thinking about getting a pair of shoes like these Shoes Does anyone wear them how are they? I understand they are suppose to help with lower back pain right. Do they work? What pair would you recommend? |
| All I can say is you will love them!!!!! I got a pair about a year ago and wear them every chance I get. Your feet will not be use to walking in them so you will need to take it slow for the first few weeks, no real long hikes or anything. you will sure feel a difference in the way you walk and foot placement..GET A PAIR |

Not an expert on minimalist running shoes, but here's what i know -
You need to adjust your step to strike on the middle of your foot, not the heel. Your stride length needs to shorten as well. It will work your calves a lot more than regular running. Used to get really bad shin splints, and this style of running has helped. I like the Merrel Road Gloves better than the Five Fingers. http://www.merrell.com/US/en-us/Product.mvc.aspx/26342M/60840/Mens/Barefoot-Run-Road-Glove |

How big are your toes, relative to your feet? Do you have a Morton's Toe? These are things to bear in mind. My feet are almost as short as a USA size 10 (UK size 9), but my toes are chunky, like you might expect to see on USA size 12/13. The width of my foot is around an 11/12. Basically, I cannot properly fit into VFF. |
