| Kinda disappointed. Ordered my upper and lower from Spikes back in April. I was told it would be a 3 month wait. Ok. I can wait. Emailed them today and was told that it would be another 3 months for my spider logo lower. They said they are still filling orders from February. I could get it sooner if I would change to the punisher or calico jack logo instead.I don't know if my upper is also 3 months out (ordered that about 3 weeks after the lower). I told them I'll wait. Kinda bummed! How can they be that far off on thier estimates? |

I imagine they are just as frustrated and not being able to fill orders Kinda of makes me chuckle at all the people whining about waiting 15 days for Palmetto to ship their uppers, just about every other vendor I hear stories of multi-month waits, RRA is like 8 months, DSA is about 4-6 and Spike's has long wait times too. |

I'm pretty much done with Spike's because of their mis-handling of their wait times. It's one thing to be backed up. It's another thing to give inaccurate estimates and push back ship dates over and over again.
I've been waiting about 20 weeks now for an order that was quoted as 6-8 weeks when I placed it (4 rifles, as a dealer order). Every time I've called, I've been told 2-3 more weeks, and that time frame comes and goes with no word. The same happened last year with an order I placed. If they had said it would be 4 months the first time I called, I might be a little more understanding. But there's no reason to tell me 2-3 more weeks several times over the course of 4 months. |
| I ordered my Spikes rifle about a year and half ago, took about 11 weeks to show up to the LGS. The wait was a real pain, it was my first AR also, but the gun is awesome, you'll like it when you get it. Eventually you'll forget you even waited that long for it, until someone on arfcom brings it up ;) |
| Ordered a ST enhanced 16" MIDDY upper 5/24/12. Still waiting, but I'm ok. Not so impatient I'm calling them or nothing. I knew what I was getting into....Now if its Nov or Dec and still nothing maybe I'll call. Did you use the ARFCOM discount code? I did, and it saved me about 30 bucks. |
