I have a 10000 gallon pool that even though I fill it with high PH water the Ph falls to about 6.5 after a week or two. I have kept pool for about 10 years and never had a problem like this. My PH bounce in the past allways ended up on the high PH side. I had it balanced for awhile and we got a turd floater of a rain the next day I checked the PH and it was low again. Any ideas?

What's your alkalinity like?
But also not suprising, rain will almost always be low ph.  And if you got a lot (as you imply) it will most certianly drop your readings.

Fill the sumbitch in with concrete or turn it into a ballin' fish pond.

Coming from a guy who builds pools for minimum wage. They're too much hassle for such low reward

Well, if you alk is way out of range (70-120 ppm) then you will have a lot of trouble balancing your ph.  if thats the case your gonna have to crash the alyk and then bring it back into the propper range first.
