Big question is what are you going to be using it for.  Unless you are planning on playing graphics intensive games or video editing, this box will keep you happy for another 5 years.

FYI, Crysis is the game that most gauge a computers gaming worth by these days.  It was released in 2007.  Not much has come out since that has taxed computer resources like it.  At $600 you are on a decent system with enough processor and ram to run the interwebs for a few years to come.  If you want gaming, add a decent video card.  It looks like that PC has a built in video card.

No gaming...just looking for something with more memory and disk space than my current machine.

Main uses are internet and basic photo editing.

Keep in mind that some of these prepackaged PC's will not be able to be upgraded with a video card or extra RAM or additional hard drives.  More and more they are using motherboards with no additional expansion slots for video or sata ports to add more drives, only 2 memory slots on the motherboard ect.

Those specs will be good for what most average people use their computers for......you get what you pay for as long as you don't think you will be able to add anything to it in the future you are good to go

You could hit Best Buy and Walmart and see who has a $300-$400 PC with keyboard and mouse, 2+ gig of ram, 500Gig to 1T HDD.  The big thing is getting the ram with Window7.  Minimum 2gig.  Remember that 32-bit operating systems maxes out at 3.3Gig utilization where as 64-bit are between 8 and 192gig.  (Depends upon the flavor of Win7 you get).  If your PC is a store bought circa 2007, you will 4x your power with a cheapy mentioned above.

ETA:  I build my own from scratch.  I can't make one for what they cost at Walmart and BB.  I get better quality parts but unless the OP wants to continue building and replacing was we who build our own, why not get the $350 model from Walmart/BB?

Go to tigerdirect and look at barebones kits. There easy to build and you get a much better computer. Plus you can upgrade later on based on what motherboard it comes with.
