Trying to get a umbrella policy for all my toys. I know what my guns are worth but I don't know about my ammos value. I have a lot of ammo made in Malaysia all .223 in 840rd cans. I have looked around and can not find similar.......who ever deleted my last post.....I DONT want to sell my ammo...... " I would never sell you, I just want to know what your worth" ..........sorry for not being more clear earlier. Thanks, David

Best I can guess based on prices 840 round cans were going for in 2009-2011, is about $280-320 a can, but considering how much a can of 193 LC sells for I could be way off.

I think have some of that same ammo (Malaysian Surplus M193). For me, in today's market I'd venture to say that..........

37 cents per round would be fair.  Then add another......say $8-$10 for the can.

Aloha, Mark

PS.......IIRC, my cans have 820 rounds per ammo can.  It's packed in 20 rd boxes, 41 boxes to the .50 cal ammo can.

Mark, You are right. For some reason I can never remember if the .223 cans are 820 or  840?  Thanks for the info, David
