I would like eye protection that doesn't push my hearing protection muffs away from my ears. Does anyone make something like that, that works with muffs? Get custom fitted ear plugs. They work just as well as muffs and you don't have to deal with block on the sides of your ears. |

I always doubled up before getting these and could tell the difference when I didn't. I can't detect any difference in noise level with custom plugs vs custom plugs + muffs, even when shooting something heavier like 7.62x39 or 7.62x54r, and I have very good hearing. This is all indoors, by the way. The reason, as it's been explained to me, is that while the plugs will effectively stop sound waves from traveling down your ear canal to your ear drum, nothing is going to stop vibrations from your jaw bone and skull from being transmitted. Muffs don't do anything to change that. |

If someone is there shooting a .308 or something similar, you can't take but a few minutes of it, especially if they are in the stall next to you. I really would like to find glasses that dont lessen the seal of the muffs or muffs that are not affected by the glasses. |

Like I said, however, custom ear plugs provide at least as much protection as muffs, which helps you avoid this entire problem. I've always had that problem with glasses not fitting properly under muffs and this was the solution I went with. |

They are a wrap around design, very lightweight and very slim. They don't look particularly cool, but they are less than $3 a pair and are very comfortable.
