You have any idea how long I thought his name was "Got Ya'??
First song is alright. WIll listen to the second. Definite 80's vibe and goes along with my theory that more and more music sounds like it came from the 80's. Not a bad thing, I guess. He's got a big mouth. Literally. |

Overplayed, can't stand him anymore Agreed. Damn catchy song, though. Grew on me before it became popular and got played every 5 minutes on the radio. Now its quickly un-growing. Fucking hipsters. Actually a hipster would say they do not like it because everyone else does now....so who is the hipster?

But wait, there's more.... "Gotye has scored the longest-running #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Somebody That I Used To Know." So if one hit is good, 10 must be better, right? That seems to be the logic behind the upcoming release of a "Somebody" remix album, which, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is scheduled to drop on iTunes June 8 and feature reworkings of the song by Adrock, Tiesto, Gang of Colours, Bibio, M-Phazes, Faux Pas, 4Frnt, Sneaker For, Dan Aux and Miami Nights 1984." http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1686241/gotye-somebody-that-i-used-to-know-remix-album.jhtml |

Never heard of the guy til I heard this cover of his song. I prefer the cover to the original. That was awesome. |
