could someone please enlightening me as to why there is an epidemic of fucktardness going on with making trucks squat in the rear? besides tossing aside any ability to haul or tow anything, is there any logical reason for this or is this just how fucking retarded people have become? 
there are even clubs for this shit.

I see that in my area too. Most of them are dropped in the ass end with $30 lowering blocks. Just depends if the axle is above or below the leaf springs and how much travel is there. Some just pull leafs out. Some are bagged. The owners haven't touched the front because the drop spindles are too expensive and have no clue what they're doing anyway.
I saw an 80's Monte Carlo with 2x4 wooden blocks propping the front end up. They jacked up the car, stuffed in blocks to keep the suspension at full travel/height, then let it down. 
I'm guilty of playing with torsion bars on old VW's though.
