Finished watching the movie Raw Deal and Arnold is brandishing this MP5 through the last part of the film. For the pre ban guys ever seen one like this?

yes it was common at the time

its just a shroud to make it "look cooler"

they all had to have 16 inch barrels if they were rifles. Uzis had something just like it as well

My clone had a collapsible stock while I waited for the Stamp to cut the barrel...I took the shroud off out of curiosity and that long pencil barrel looked awkward as hell..got the thing SBR'd as soon as I could

Damn straight. I had my eye on a H&K SP89. Almost had the money ready when the ban hits, and the prices fuckin' sky rocketed.
