| They couldn't even remove the sunset provision in 1996, and you think they can do it between now and 2004? Politicians don't care about doing the right thing, THEY JUST WANT TO KEEP THEIR JOBS. They know what happened in 1994, and I think they've learned their lesson. |
| That depends on all of the gun owners out there, If we could get more gun owners to vote there is would be a good chance of it dissapearing. In order to get rid of the AWB we need to at least keep what we have in the House of Representatives and get more conservative republicans in the senate. As long as the democrats have control of the senate they will pass anything that restricts guns. Find out which candidates are pro gun and go vote, and convince everyone you possibly can to do the same. Write your current representatives and let them know how you feel about the assault weapons ban. I believe that if we pull together and get of our asses we can get rid of this ban. |
