Troy rear folding BUIS. What the Christ way are they supposed to be facing? I found this picture online, but it doesn't make sense. The hash marks and text should be facing you if you are shooting, correct? So in this picture the sight is on backwards. Or am I horribly wrong, or does it really matter?

Thats how I had mine mounted until today when I went to sight them in. And though to myself why would the hash marks be facing the other way, and not towards you. It doesn't make sense. I guess either way can be right?

I would think it just flip away from you rather than toward but looks like either is fine

From Troy website.

Looks like the markings should be facing you when the BUIS is in the flip rearwards orientation.

ETA:  Pic from this site that someone posted.  Caption reads:  New on left, older version on right.  Looks like they reversed the orientation.

Hmm so it looks like either way could be correctly mounted.

Or an enterprising indiviual could remove, rotate and reattach the sight to the base itself so the hash marks are facing you and it would flip forward.
