2 tv shows. thats what got me started on this. I have tried rodeo thing, jousting seems like way more fun.

You would have to move to Maryland(jousting is the state sport).  I lived there for 24 years. Trust me. It is not worth it.

Jousting in the good old days often ended in permanent serious bodily injury or death. Today it doesn't look much different if you take the transfer of kinetic energy in the wrong spot.

Totally stupid IMHO...Much moreso than riding a bull.

That second guy screwed up.  PPE worn was not to standard.

But lots of French knights had their careers cut short by jousting injuries.

Lots more got them cut short by arrow injuries.
