Found this guy in the garden this morning. Can someone tell me what he is? And no - I'm not going to bash him. He looks like a good mouser.   Looks like he had a mouse dinner last night. |

One of these, or something similar. Eastern Ribbon Snake. I've always just called them garter snakes. |

Looks like a garter snake. A well fed one at that! That is a big one. Under cooked also. That's the GREAT type of snake. They only eat shit nobody wants around, and they won't poison you or your animals, though any snake bite can be nasty if not cleaned properly. In my experience, very unconfrontational. |
