Is there a way to tell if someone edited an ad? I purchased something from the EE and I think it was edited after I sent the money order with higher prices. Any help?
ETA: I'm editing this to see if you can tell it was edited ETA2: Can you tell if it was edited now? ETA3: I found out how to check it thanks to you guys. It looks as though it has been edited. I'm gonna contact a MOD to see if they can show me the original ad. Thanks guys. |

The original post will say "Edited on" or "Last edit" instead of just posted.
But if the person edited the ad to reflect your purchase, then there WILL be an edit anyway. That's why a lot of purchasers will quote the original text in their response, or make sure and put the agreed upon terms and conditions into the IM or e-mail and keep a copy in their sent folder to be able to prove any differences. I don't know if Mods have access to something that was there before the edit or not. |
