Hello, peeps. I'm slightly new to posting threads on "this" forum. I searched around for a while and think I'm posting in the correct area. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So I ordered somethings a few days ago from Gear-Out.com. I am a little nervous, because they have zero online presence. I mean NONE. I have searched several different keywords with no luck. The company claims to have been in business since 1998. I couldn't even find any record of them being an Ebay vendor. They have very very competitive prices, but have terrible customer service. I was really hoping to write a great review about them thinking that they are the undiscovered jewel of online retail gun supplies, but I'm a little doubtful now. They have no address, no number, and only an email address which they are not overly prompt to respond to. They absolutely refuse to speak with me on the phone. I don't know I guess I'm old school and just want to hear someones voice to be reassured that someone is holding down the fort(unlike SKSman which seemed to have just vanished but his website is still up,hopefully he's okay).

Anyways just wondering if anyone has ordered from Gear Out before?

Thanks

EDIT: I did get my parts. They are legit but will not talk to you on the phone because they are ________.

I was charged but I always use a prepaid card just to be on the safe side. I have not seen any unauthorized charges.

If this is a spam thread, it is the oddest spam thread ever.

Nope, not a spam thread. Its actually not a good thread. I did get my Stuff. They are legit, but It pisses me off that they refuse to speak on the phone. I mean WTF. I have lots of questions now I have to tag back and forth in emails. Its just annoying. I mean the prices are very good but not good enough for me to spend 5% some where else where I can just call and ask any question I would like. In a way its almost worth the 5% or so.

Whether restaurants or firearms dealers, I tend to spend a couple more dollars for the assurance of good customer service.  I don't sling money around wastefully, but customer service is part of the whole value package to me.

When it comes to cheap, you get what you pay for.

Your absolutely right. You do get what you pay for. I should have not done, what I did. Luckily I was not burnt. But be where to other folks, they're CS sucks.
