Why does the court system go soft on scum like this in the first place?  You would think after dealing with people like this everyday, judges would be wise to offenders just telling them what they want to hear.  Notice how his attitude changes as he is led out of the court room.  All smug and 'haha', when only a few moments earlier, he was pretending to give a shit.
