I'm halfway through the first Ringworld book.

There are a lot of Ringworld spinoffs...I think I am about to waste spring

Good thing you didn't get into the Dies the Fire series, you'd waste spring and be mad at yourself and the dumbass that wrote the wiccan rapture.

Read a bunch, winds up spanning thousands of years.  You can definitely get sucked in, especially if you start in one Man-Kzin stuff too.

I'd be reading it too if they'd ever put out a kindle version.

Is there a kindle version I can buy?  I'm not interested in pirating it.

I don't know anyone's moral feelings on Scribd (kind of an online free library), but you can download it from there in pdf format and use Calibre to convert it to .mobi if you like.

I really don't want to post a link as I'm just not sure of the legalities of Scribd, but google "Ringworld pdf".

ETA: you could also check if your local library has kindle books (some do) and you just log onto the library via the kindle browser...worth looking into

The Ringworld series, Known Space and the Man-Kzin Wars are some of my all time favorites.

"Scream and leap" was one of my guiding principles as a younger man.  Now it's more like "Yawn and put my feet up".

Why IM?  He gave you all the info you need.

And no, I do not agree with downloading a pirated copy of a book.
