Tonight after being slammed with calls and not getting to eat earlier I stopped by Burger King.
I haven't had fast food in a long time so I figured what the heck. Got a #1 Whopper combo. The Whopper when cooked fresh and made by a person who takes some pride in the job they do is a awesome burger. Helps when you're starving but still. |

The last time I ate Burger King was at Oshea's Casino in Vegas in around 2003. I have never been sicker and more miserable in my life from that damn "Whopper."  It sure tasted good going down. I wish I had listened to my wife and ate at Subway instead. I could understand if this was a one time thing, but after all the times I have had the shits after eating there before, that was the last straw. I was not the only one, almost everyone I encounter who talks about Burger King has a story. I wouldn't eat there again even if it was free.  |

Let's see ya get a McDLT these days. |

Burger King is likely the best value, most appealing as far as their actual burgers go. They also offer a country pork sandwich (Tenderloin) in some markets that is absolutely the best sandwich I've ever ordered from a restaurant. Additionally, their big fish sandwich is much bigger and better than McDonalds, although some other offer better quality.
How do I know this? For about 17 years, I ate fast food once a day at lunch. Burger King probably constituted 60-70 percent of this. Oh, and my bloodwork came back excellent about 3 years ago, before I cut back to try to eat a little less red meat. |
