Several weeks ago you posted numerous pics of the USS Iowa in a thread titled 'The Big (Rusty) Stick'. I forwarded the link to Master Chief Tom Helvig (USN) (Ret). Chief Helvig is the editor and publisher of 'The Jerseyman' - a publication dedicated to the history and crewmembers of the USS New Jersey. He is now editor and publisher of 'The Iowan' for the USS Iowa.

He would like to publish some of your photos but needs your permission. He is in contact with about 2,000 former crewmembers who would also love to see them.

Chief Helvig's contact info can be found on the last page of each issue of 'The Jerseyman' (available online) or you can contact me and I will send you the info. Any ARFCOMER is welcome to send him photos of these two great ships or photos of any ship's bell.

I would go with Tyler's idea first, and use Scotchy's idea as plan B
