Like most high-performance things, they degrade much quicker than mediocrity. Here is one such example. Insane vocals!!

Sweet, you just found the youth I'd lost.
They had a great 10 year run, then ran out of steam. Prior success, money in the bank and the road life can kill one's motivation to write and tour just as badly as drugs. Even Maiden had a rough 90s, but at least they're back to a degree.

It's strange looking back and forgetting how good they were. My brother used to absolutely hate them. Now he revisiting Queensryche and currently has a new found enthusiasm for them

One of my all time favorite bands. Operation Mindcrime is still their best album.
