I'll be on the internet using my wifi and everything is working great.  I'll leave my computer for about a minute and come back and I'll lose my connection.  This is windows so in the bottom right corner there is a little computer with a globe on it showing im connected.  When I lose my connection the globe is gone.

I have to disconnect from the wireless and then re connect.

I recently replaced my wireless router because it crapped out?

Am I going to die?  Dibbs on guns??

Next time this happens, open a command prompt then type in:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

See if that fixes it for that one time.

Set your DNS server in your wireless connection to 192.168.1.1 (or whatever IP your wireless router is).

Are you running Vista? This used to happen to me all the time with Vista.
