Why do people button the top button of their shirts when they are not wearing a tie? |

Not necessarily a weirdo. That helps to hide a longer neck while still remaining comfortable. Some shirts, usually the more expensive brands like Burberry, come standard with a button that buttons higher than a normal dress shirt. I personally prefer it. Yeah, my Burberry shirts definitely allow for the top button to be open and not look like you are going out to the club if you don't have a huge neck to fill in the gap. |
