[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How long until Civil War II? (Page 1 of 6)

| The country clearly can not go on like this. Soon the leaches and the takers will demand more and more money from the producers. At what point to do those who actually produce and pay taxes, stand up and put a stop to this? |
| Impossible to tell exactly when it will be. Right now everything is right for it to happen but something would need to set it off. An assassination, a fraudulent election, a major riot, or a Katrina like disaster could all set it off but no one can predict exactly when or if something like that would happen. |

Quoted:
It already has started. Just that the shots has'nt been fired yet. KInd of what I was thinking. It has already been set in motion intentionally, I believe, by our dear leader. When will the first shots be fired and where? That I don't know for sure but a good bet would be right after the upcoming election. I sure wouldn't want to live in any of the big cities around that time. |

Heck, I'd thought we'd be shooting each other already... ![]() Let's see what the Lib-tards and Occupy Communists get up to this summer. |

I believe it will happen in my lifetime and have for some time now. It will take a major catalyst however. The various civil wars in the interwar period are worth studying... A Catalyst could be anything really. If things REALLY go full retard an EMP or solar storm will set it off. |

Quoted: it's happening in other countries right now as we speak. Why should we be any different? Because there's still cold beer in the fridge and American Idol on the tube. People aren't pissed off enough to potentially throw everything away. Things start getting iffy when people are angry, cold, and hungry. That's part of why the Arab world is so unstable. When you wipe your ass with your hands and live in a mud hut, you don't have much to lose on a good day. |

I think some people need to get out and mingle a little more with society. You won't be so convinced anything bad is going to happen. It is precisely because I don't "mingle" with the Kardashian's ass is bigger/smaller this week crowd that I actually SEE what the fuck is going on! |

I'd say when the welfare runs out. The blacks will riot. But that'll never happen they will raise taxes or print money to cover welfare babies. There's the problem - there's not enough money in America to tax to cover the debt we're incurring. Next year alone the debt will grow 1.3 trillion dollars if Obama gets his budget passed. You could tax the top 1% at a 100% rate on their NET WORTH and only come up with about 2 trillion dollars. Wipe out the top one percent of wealth in this country and you'd pay for not even the last two years of government spending. |

If there is going to be any sort of uprising in this country it would have to be along the lines of the unrest we see in Greece today - the leaches getting cut off and getting pissed. The producers? We are like frogs in a pot - as long as they only turn the heat up a little at a time we don't notice and don't jump out.
Fortunately for us it is still true here that the majority of people young and aggressive enough to do any real damage still go to work and earn a living. A large majority of our "entitlements" go old people on SS, and when the economic SHTF and their checks don't go out what are they going to do? A bunch of 65+ year olds running rampant in the streets doesn't seem realistic to me. |
