I'm watching an electrician load up his van.
He is wearing a metal hard hat.... That doesn't sound like the best choice for his profession but I don't know anything about it. What am I missing? |

Quoted:
Electricians are specifically required to wear non conductive PPE. 1910.135(a)(2) "Protective helmets designed to reduce electrical shock hazard shall be worn by each such affected employee when near exposed electrical conductors which could contact the head." Interesting! Thatnks! |
