I'm halfway through a twelve-pack and had the startling realization that humans are the only animals that wipe their ass. I could be wrong, but this leads me to wonder if we are doing it wrong. Do other animals groom their * after defecating?

Our family dog wipes its ass on the carpet. More of a drag, but it does the same thing

50% of GD doesn't wipe and is proud of that fact. Are they more or less evolved than the average wiper?

Dog poop thread! Dogs, cats etc will drag their ass to remove excess waste particles. Humans are one of the few animals that have butt cheeks which necessitate a recessed star fish!

It might be because we have buns, most animals if not all have a b-hole that is flush with their rear end. It just drops off.
