Just over at 8. Pretty wild flying. Go to about the 6:50 mark and watch for about a minute to see his escape flip. I'd have tossed cookies and everything else.

holy crap..| Dad was a USAF WSO in F-4s in 'Nam. I told him about one of these episodes where an Phantom driver did basically what the OP video shows - forced departure - and then the plane reacted (IIRC) by rolling three times left, then three times right, then got nose-down and regained controlled flight. Dad basically said "Yep, that's what a Phantom would do!" |
