What is the hive's experience with having a background check run on someone?
Here is the situation: Guy is dating my sister. He lives in another state about 4 hours away. Supposedly divorced. Guy is a complete ass. I need to find out anything that I can on him. He has moved into an apartment in that city just a few months ago. I do not have his social security number or driver's license number. I don't know how low this guy is flying under the radar and thus my question. I don't want to pay if the info. I can get online is not much. Or, would I be better off getting a local PI to run a background check as opposed to using one of those online outfits? If online, which one do you recommend? I am looking for his true marital status and other things such as lawsuits, bankruptcy, etc. Thx!!! |

do the private investigating yourself!  I would except for the time and distance involved. Also, I want independant verification so that if and when I present it to my sister she cannot say I made it up. There is a lot more to the story, but to say the least, his intentions are not honorable. |
