Making the pledge a Constitutional amendment is one of the most knee jerk, bandaid, asinine things I've ever heard of! We aren't supposed to amend the Constitution for the trivial and fleeting passions of the populace. Instead it should only be done for important and weighty matters that have been thoroughly and carefully considered. |
