| This issue is the big news here in Indiana. State democrats and union thugs are talking about using the Super Bowl as a means to force the GOP's hand on this...the whole issue just burns me up. You know, I wouldn't be so upset if unions had not become such political entities. I've heard the argument about the value of training and work place safety...but by that same line of logic, I'd argue that the NRA provides hunter safety training in a lot of areas. Therefore, if you want to purchase a hunting liscense you must also join the NRA...exact same situation. |

You have to separate union members from union leadership. The membership just wants to keep the pay and bennies coming and have decent QOL.
The leadership has a sweet deal and HAS to keep that ball rolling or they go back to the shop floor and they sure as hell don't want to do that. They have to fight RTW because a closed shop is a must for the dues to keep rolling in. TC I've been F'ed more by my union than I have by my company. |

I really don't think screwing with the Super Bowl will garner support the way these unions think it will. A bunch of these union guys are asking for a referendum as well. Not sure they would get the vote they want.
Indiana wants RTW. We need to just get on it with it. |
