Does anyone know if there's a way to prevent an iOS 5 device from mounting while locked? I plugged my iPhone into my PC to charge and I can browse the photos. I'm thinking there may be a couple on there that I wouldn't want a thief to gain access to. Does anyone know if there's a setting to prevent this, or do I need to write an app to move the photos and encrypt them?

Download "hide it pro"

I've got it on android but I'd assume it's on apple too.

Allows you to password protect files

You need to enable full disk encryption on the phone which requires as passcode. If you do this, the device won't allow the files to be read until you enter the passcode when it is attached to a computer.

Settings > General > Passcode Lock

Should say "Data Protection Enabled" at the bottom once you set the passcode
