So, I went to Christmas dinner with a bunch of elderly relatives and their friends.  These people are mostly in their 70s and 80s (I think one brought a 60-something trophy wife along).  And, as it will, after discussing their recent round-the-world travels, the conversation turns to the upcoming presidential election.

Three of them are retired MDs, and are pissed off beyond belief at Obama and Obamacare.

So who are they voting for?

No, not Mittens.  Romneycare took care of that.

Herman Cain was missed by two of them.  Out of the race, so they can't vote for him any more.  Well, they could, but it's about as pointless as voting for Donald Duck.

Their pick?  Ron Paul.

All youse guys who run around with RPDS, screaming that nobody but 20-year-old idiots likes him, are seriously missing something.

I'm hearing more and more about Ron Paul as a protest vote. From young and old alike.

Umm, I can pretty much guarantee that that wouldn't happen.  If it's got a "(D)" after it on the ballot, it ain't gettin' their votes.

Cool.

Up here, ALOT of doctors and medical industry people I know and have known are solid Democrats.

I find it funny that now I hear them complaining quite a bit about Obamacare.  I just tell them, "well you voted for Obama and always vote for Democrats so you reap what you sow".

I know from my own experiences in life that STUPID hurts.  Oh well, they were stupid and they are going to pay a HEAVY price for that stupidity unless the SCOTUS overturns Obamacare.

My SIL is one of them but she is too stupid to even know she is stupid.

I like any of the Republicans, except Romney.

I'd vote for Ron Paul in the General, too...but not Romney.
