Been using Firefox since day one (in beta) and now looking into Chrome.  Firefox has become a memory hog and know there are tweaks to fix some of that.  Frankly I don't have the time or the want to dick with it anymore.

So I'm sure it's been beaten like a dead horse but I'll ask anyway keep Firefox or switch to Chrome?

Thanks for the help.

I voted 'other' because I use Opera and I love it.

Chrome ran really fast to begin with, then became dog slow the longer I used it.  I recently downloaded Firefox Aurora and so far really like it.  It's a pre-Beta version, so beware...  but seems fairly well worked out so far.

According to Secunia, a computer security service provider, the mean average of unpatched vulnerabilities in the last 365 days (for Opera) is 0.01. This stands in contrast to Internet Explorer (38.3), Firefox (5.77), and Safari (1.54).[63]

That would be good!

FF is what I've always used.

I ran Firefox up till Version 4.  It became sluggish, memory hog, and unstable.  Then they started this whole rolling out new features and updates constantly, rather than trying to get the browser back to it's snappy, light footprint self.

I started Running Chrome in March of this year, love it.

Now, that said...I use IE at work for a few intranet pages (like payroll).  I have to admit, IE9 is pretty damn impressive.  Not quite enough for me to run it at home, but at least I don't hate having to do stuff on the intranet with it like I did with previous verisons of IE.

But again, like the muscle car boys like to say: Go CHROME or go Home!

I'm running Firefox, but yeah, it's become a Memory hog.

I have Chrome, but I don't use it that much.

I tried Chrome for a while.  I went back to Firefox.

YMMV

ETA - I honestly think I'd pay for a RAM upgrade before going back to Chrome full time.

Chrome is simple and to the point, just the way I like it. Firefox is slowly becoming the new Internet Explorer.

Chrome runs much faster on both my Laptop and desktop.
