Do you ever wonder why when soldiers come back from combat they have such a hard time adjusting to “our world?”
When “sports” started it was combat. People killing people to entertain others. They did this because There was no war going on to entertain the masses. Sports have turned into VERY well paid people shooting a puck, running a football, or touching a base with no fatalities. A soldier comes back from fighting for your way of life, after seeing the closest friends he or she will ever have die, and killing people who are fighting for their way of life to people who worship a guy who can hit a ball further, run faster, or skate better than anyone else being worshipped by the masses.
A quote I stole from a close soldier friend of mine: If you can read, thank a teacher. If it’s in English, thank a soldier. Next time you’re watching a game think about what that really represents and who is out there keeping you safe and protecting you way of life.
...end rant

Not sure if serious.  How the hell do you forget where your bourban glass is?
