My wife and I Found some ones shopping forgotten in a shopping cart in the parking lot,

I take it to customer service And as I explain the situation this women dives across from the other line and says "can I look in the bag" I say "why it isn't yours" she then sucked her teeth and returns to her line and keeps giving me evil looks.

Now I've only lived in the US for a couple of years but this individual fitted all the stereotypes described in GD. I thought you were all being harsh but I have to now admit GD was right!

Stereotypes persist because they're true. When they stop being true they fade away.

A lone experience shouldn't shape your entire perspective. Go with your gut. Almost every time someone gets robbed, raped, or cheated they look back and state that they knew something was amiss, but didn't act on it.

I was just shocked at the brazen attempt to cheat/steal in front of several witnesses! Like they say back home she had some brass neck!

maybe she thought it was hers and she would know if she saw what was inside it, and thats why she was in customer service?

maybe she wanted to see if there was anything in it she wanted to buy anyways, and was looking to save time?
