Not gun related, but pretty sweet nonetheless.  After doing a little reading on it I went to Home Depot to pick up one of the Porter-Cable framing nailers they had listed at $119 (marked down from $199).  Apparently yesterday was the last day they were doing it and it was back up to $199 today...but since there were two displays, they missed the price on one.  So, still got it for $127 with tax.  And grabbed the last Ryobi 18V drill with battery and charger @$30.  At that price I can't resist getting a backup!  An 18V battery alone is like 30 bucks!  Needless to say I am moderately stoked.

Are you going to get $119 worth of use out of a framing nailer?

I love tools but I always think about things like that when I get the urge to buy them.

Were they out of pressure washers?

Undoubtedly.  I'm a handyman, and I'm starting to look at the future, taking larger jobs and growing a business.  Renting a framing nailer is like 40 bucks a day - two small decks and this thing will have more than earned its keep.

I have never bought a tool simply because I have thought "Ooo shiny".  I've only bought tools in response to the necessities of jobs that I was in the middle of.  Now I'm starting too look at what tools will expand my capabilities and speed up my work, allowing me to earn more.
